June Bride

I created this pen and ink drawing for a dear artist friend of mine, soon to be married. She loved the dress so much, she said she wished she could find one just like the drawing--the dress, of course, was born in my imagination.

I have more pen and ink drawings than those to which I add color. The reason is that to add color is to add another 2-6 hours of work to a drawing. Ah, if only I had the time...

And how we love ALL of your art, colored or not. This beautiful bride is exception, especially her adorable dress.

Very Beautiful! Amazing how much time it takes to add the coloring. More reason to enjoy the colored ones you share and like Clytie said we love your art colored or not :)

Doesn't it aggravate sometimes to not get exactly what we want? We're almost tricked any more into thinking it's possible. What do you mean you just thought it up? Ha!

Hope she finds a perfect dress.

I love your line drawings uncolored especially this one because you can better see all the little details, this is beautiful just as it is.
