Rockin' in the Summertime -Paint Party Friday

The rock you see above is about the size of my thumb.  I have been painting rocks and leaving them all around town.  It is SO fun.  I rarely hear back from those who find them, but knowing I can spread beauty and kindness...some kind of joy into people's lives, is precious to me.

The rock with waves is about the size of the palm of my hand.  I loved painting it.  The camera doesn't do these paintings justice.  They are like small jewels.  I have SO much fun putting them out around the park and downtown area.

I hope you have a lovely weekend, dear ones and Happy Paint Party Friday.

She Knows -Paint Party Friday

I absolutely love how this one came out.  This drawing captures my feisty friend Heather to a tee!   I referenced an old Art Nouveau card in my collection for the designs behind her.

Below is my reference photo of my lovely friend Heather.  She's so sweet and kind--but as you can see, she can be quite saucy!

Summer is finally arriving here--it is to be 100 Sunday and Monday!  I surely do hope to stay cool.  Time to get the air conditioner running.

Happy Paint Party Friday.  Stay safe out there.

Lavender Flower Fairy -Paint Party Friday

I have these flowers in my garden.  They bloom in late Fall and have the most beautiful lavender flowers.  Of course there's a little fairy who comes to paint them just for me.

Have a good weekend, dear ones and Happy Paint Party Friday.

Hope Heart -Paint Party Friday

Here is another of the rocks I've been painting.  This one was hidden in a tree down at the park.  I think about how fun it would be to find something like this.  It's good to spread a little joy into other people's day, don't you think?

Here's yet another of my little rock paintings!  I hear people are painting them and hiding them all over the place.  I LOVE painting rocks!

Happy Paint Party Friday, dear Friends.
