After last week's storms, this whimsical lineart drawing seems so appropriate! There are times when rain soothes my soul. One of my favorite sounds as a child, was the sound of rain drumming on the tilted ceiling of our upstairs room. I still love that sound.
Boy I take a day off and I really miss out. I love the last three posts they are extraordinary. You are truly amazing, I don't know how you crank out all this art and still have a life. Keep up the good work.
P.S. Let me know if you would seriously like me to dig into our genealogy it's a hobby of mine.
Wonderful Beth! Are you still thinking of making a coloring book of your ink drawings? I'm doing one and I think I'll be looking into publishing on Lulu.com (that's where all my KATS friends say to go) If you do make one PLEASE let me know, I'd love to have one!
It seems you have sketched the rain goddess herself so she can pour water on your staircase every time you wants and you can listen the b'ful sound... ;)
i loved it though i too would have love to see in colors.
She is beautiful, cavorting with the clouds. I picture her as stirring up the boring gray monotonous winter rain clouds into occasional showers and thunderstorms of spring and summer.
wowwww...loved the pic mam :-) I am damn impressed with your drawing talent. I feel they fit in apt for my poems....you have great taste and an absolutely marvelous drawing muscle...keep goingggg....
A midget who told me, when I was depressed about people making fun of me because we had no money and no new clothes and I was wearing everything second handed. He told me, "You are the only one in the world, make the most of it."

FILLS MY EYES...
When I see something unexpected, unusual, or beautiful, my focus suddenly sharpens and intensifies. The sensation tickles! That's when I say something "fills my eyes." It is the greatest compliment I can give.
My Camera and Me
I carry my camera everywhere I go. Here you see one of my Cloud Paintings. I find unusual shapes, faces, animals in just about everything, especially clouds. Often I am able to enhance or "paint" my photos so others can see what my imagination has revealed.
What an honor to be a featured artist for this wonderful webpage!
A Fairytale Mind
This is a link to my favorite book reviewer. Rena Lanyon gives a well-written review from a youthful perspective.
When I stand before God at the end of my life, I would hope that I have not a single bit of talent left, and could say, "I used everything you gave me Lord." -- Darlene Pringle, Artist
"Life is not about waiting for the storms to pass....it's about learning how to dance in the rain."

This is so pretty! I would love to see it in color!
Very beautiful. I like how you said that rain soothed your soul, most people think rain cramps thier style. I like the postive outlook :)
Now, is she holding them, pushing them, pulling them, creating them or perhaps just inadvertantly cupping them? I think the last. Lovely.
