To Dance Again -Paint Party Friday

Even at my late age, one can dream about dancing again. Dreams are beautiful, and though I may not dance as I did when I was young, who's to say dancing in my "golden years" might be just as lovely.

The days are growing longer again, and I yearn for Spring.  Soon the flowers will bloom again.  I smelled Spring blowing in a southerly wind a few days ago, and I am nostalgic.

Blessings and joy to each of you who found time to drop by today.  Thank you, and Happy Paint Party Friday.

Dancing with Roses -Paint Party Friday

I have been pretty busy--not enough time to draw.  It is the Fourth of July. Between the holiday and all the deadlines for the non-profit I run, I have been nearly overwhelmed.  This is a drawing from over 40 years ago--when I was just a teenager.  I loved fairies and flowers with faces even then.

Have a lovely weekend, sweet Friends!  Happy Paint Party Friday!

Happy Dance -Guest Heart Thursday

What a happy heart this little girl has--she loves to come to my house and play dress up!  With all the costumes I have, the selection is endless.  As you can see, the leaves are in the shape of hearts, just perfect for Guest Heart Thursday!

Dance of Hearts - Guest Heart Thursday

I was thinking about my sweet Sis Clytie last night, realized it was nearly Thursday and doodled this little Dance of Hearts.  I am fascinated with Art Nouveau--as you can see some of that style is incorporated here.

Of course I have hidden hearts all throughout the drawing!  How many can you find?

Angel Dancer

It is amazing what one can see in the clouds some days! This lovely angel gracefully wafts across the skies, whirling and twirling. Sometimes she dips low to the earth to lend a helping hand.
.The truth is, though real angels may not look like this cloud painting, there ARE angels in this world. They are sent to watch over those He loves. "For He will give His angels charge over you, to guard you in all your ways." Psalm 91:11 (NASB)

Above you see the Angel dancer as I first caught her gracefully dancing across the skies.

Dances With Light

Here is another Cloud Painting of an angel dancing in the skies. She seems to be dancing with bits of light, gracefully wafting them around her like a misty handkerchief. You can see delicate sketched traceries of what I saw, in the smaller original photo.
.
I caught this lovely angel dancing in the skies over historical Independence, Oregon, one of the most beautiful and interesting places on earth.
