Masked Face in the Sky

I haven't posted a cloud painting for a long time, so I thought I would do so today.  Since Halloween is coming soon, I thought a masked sky person would be just the perfect thing.  This is a painting from a few years back, which I have never posted before.  I love the gentle look of her eyes--it seems like she might want to say something wonderful.

Above you see my original photograph.  This was taken in the skies over the fence along the alley outside my kitchen door.

Have a lovely day, everyone--I sure am looking forward to the coming storm.  It shouldn't be too bad.  And I love a good storm.

Costume Party - Guest Heart Thursday

I love mermaids--being a part of the Mermaid Artist group has been great fun for me.  Here's my latest.  As you can see these two are preparing for a Costume Party!  Both are quite demure.

I have hidden 17 or more hearts in this drawing--can you find them all?  I thought this would be perfect for today's Guest Heart Thursday!  Have fun--and be sure to let me know how many you found.

For more wonderful heart art, photography and altogether fabulous heart stuff from around the world, visit Clytie at Random Hearts for Guest Heart Thursday.

Mask

When I saw this mask in the sky I did a double take! At first it seemed a little scary. But as I looked closer, I observed her eyes seemed friendly--shy even. Perhaps that is why she wore the Mask.

Above you see the Mask as I first viewed it in the sky.

Feathers

I did a series of swan drawings, this is the second of three. I love the idea of a feathered mask. Although these feathers seem to be actually growing from the girl's skin. I think they must be very soft. This picture, to me, has a luminous magical quality about it.
