Ready for the Undersea Halloween Masked Ball -Thursday Art Date

This pen and ink is one of the few Halloween drawings I've done over the years.  I thought the seaweed would make wonderful underwater jack o' lanterns.  :D

This mermaid and her buddy are headed to the Halloween masked ball at the great palace under the sea. I have always adored mermaids--this is one of my favorites.

Have a great day, and be sure to drop by Rain's Garden for Thursday Art Date.

Costume Party - Guest Heart Thursday

I love mermaids--being a part of the Mermaid Artist group has been great fun for me.  Here's my latest.  As you can see these two are preparing for a Costume Party!  Both are quite demure.

I have hidden 17 or more hearts in this drawing--can you find them all?  I thought this would be perfect for today's Guest Heart Thursday!  Have fun--and be sure to let me know how many you found.

For more wonderful heart art, photography and altogether fabulous heart stuff from around the world, visit Clytie at Random Hearts for Guest Heart Thursday.

The Angel and the Little Seal

Here she is! Another angel I caught with my camera yesterday afternoon. It seemed to me she was petting a small seal. I always believed angels love and watch over animals--as you see this gentle angel really seems to love this little fellow!

Above you can view the angel and the seal as I first saw them in the skies.
