Rainbow Angel -Guest Heart Thursday
This is an ACEO--a tiny piece of art the size of a baseball card. I created this doodle while watercoloring with my tiny niece. Everyone should have the opportunity to see the world from the eyes of a six-year old. Of course there are hearts to be found.
For more heart art, photography and altogether fabulous heart stuff from around the world, visit Clytie at Random Hearts for Guest Heart Thursday.
SKETCH BOOK UPDATE: I was so heart broken when I lost my sketchbook and thought I had lost it forever. I looked everywhere, made phone calls, put it out on the internet...then Monday morning I was cleaning the house for housesitters, when I picked up a dark blue cloth bag. Beneath it, half under the carpet, between the wall and our dining room table--was my sketchbook. I have NO idea how it could have slipped beneath the carpeting--but someone suggested it must be Toez the Polydactyl cat. Hmmmmm....scary thought. (grin) I can't tell you how overjoyed I feel to have my sketchbook back!!!!!

Cady Butterfly - Sunday Scans
Here is another of my latest watercolours! I loved painting with all the different colors, but it took a long time, as much of the time I had to let the paper dry between painting. Took me quite awhile to finish this painting. I think it is my favorite watercolour so far! This delightful little girl, like a flower, surely would attract the most beautiful butterflies.
Have a lovely weekend!
Al's Photography Blog, by our good friend Al, hosts "Sunday Scans" each week. Sunday Scans is a place for all things scanned. So pick up your artwork, old photo albums, ephemera, postcards, ANYTHING which can be scanned and join in the fun!

Papa and the Pink Cat

.
In this picture, you can see Papa is really an elf. You would never guess it to look at him. I surmise he must be an elf because of the magic he does with cement. Papa is a true artist. He can turn cement into an authentic looking wooden porch, or add color to make the most lovely rock walkway imaginable.
.
Papa is so gifted, in these hard times, he does not lack for work. People know the incredible quality of service he gives, and of his honest, hard-working nature. I consider it a great honor to know this wonderful, gifted artist.
.
Here a pink cat is perched upon his shoulders because it chose to do so. I have NO idea how it ended up in this drawing. (grin)

Faery Kisses

There is nothing more beautiful than faery kisses--they are magical and full of sunshine. The model for this picture was a teenager when I snapped this photo of her. She is one of the loveliest people I know in real life! This morning, as I type this, the lovely lady's little daughter is having surgery to close a hole in her heart. I would appreciate your prayers.
