Circus Menagerie -Weekly Word Sketch

This is a lineart drawing from some time ago. I thought it would fit for one of this week's words--circus!

This week has been an adventure--not much time for artwork or drawing!  We have discovered there have been critters living beneath our home.  My darling husband set a trap--thinking he would capture an opossum--but what we found instead was a little skunk.

Dealing with this little fellow has been pungently interesting.  We eventually had to hire someone to come out and take him away.   He is now free and happy in the Baskette Slough, a wildlife reserve near here.

Top Dog

As you can see one can find all kinds of interesting characters in the skies--such as this wonderful flop-eared pooch, who seems to deem himself Top Dog.

I would not mind having this big tough old fellow watching over my house! I'm sure he is loyal and kind, but wouldn't mind showing some teeth to the bad guys.

Above is the original cloud. As you can see--I didn't have to enhance much!

Happy

There is nothing so happy as a small dog running in the wind. This little fellow is so happy he's airborne!

Old Yellow Eyes

There is something compelling in the gaze of the wolf. There is a shrewd intelligence which captures my imagination. Fiercely loyal to family and friend, the friendship of a wolf--carefully won--is to be respected.

Here is brave, gentle Shara, who's greatest goal in life is to love her master and to protect her family.

Little Cloud Pal

This shaggy little fellow is one of my first Cloud Paintings. He has such a winsome personality. My camera caught him mid-bounce! I love the way he seems to want to play and the laughing adoration in his eyes. What a dear little cloud pal!

My paintbrush was a computer mouse--a rather awkward brush to be sure! It took me a couple of days to finish painting him. Today, with my wireless paintbrush, what once would have once taken days, I can accomplish in half that time! What a blessing!
