Sweet Sixteen -Paint Party Friday

Sweet Alexis turned 16 last week.  We had a little birthday party for her, and this was her gift.  Such a lovely young woman.  Wise beyond her years and gifted with a great sense of humor.  

Here is my reference photo.  She's not only lovely on the outside, but she is beautiful on the inside, too.  It is a great blessing and honor to be her friend and mentor.

Happy Birthday Honey -Paint Party Friday

Today is his birthday. 

I drew this for my husband in 1984.  It was our very first Valentine's Day together.  I will always miss my Beloved.  He was so vital and full of life and humor.  I love him so much.

Autumn Surprise

I remember the day she was born, the first beautiful leaf on our tree of life.  She was everything we'd dreamed about and more.

She is beloved.

As you can see, these two are GREAT friends.  That kitten loves to pounce on her mistress--no afternoon naps for this young lady!

Little Buddy

Yesterday was my friend Theresa's 50th birthday!  We have known each other for about half that time.  She is such a lovely, wonderful friend--A dear lady, who's gentle heart is full of beauty.
