Her Wild Heart - Guest Heart Thursday

This is a pen and ink which was inspired by a young lady who attended a ladies retreat where I was the guest speaker.  She loves Native American art and my drawing is in honor of this lovely young woman's remarkable strength and courage.  My inspiration for the horse was a beautiful black mare at the retreat grounds, who actually posed for me, as I took her picture.  There are hearts hidden in this picture--can you find them?

For more heart art, photography and altogether fabulous heart stuff from around the world, visit Clytie at Random Hearts for Guest Heart Thursday.

Thanks for pointing out the heart in my tree picture Beth! I can't believe I missed it. I have entered it over on Clytie's blog.

You captured her essence for/of life. Her connection to mother earth and her free spirit running through the mane. Her inner spirit is reflected by the horse with her/his hidden hearts. Simply poetry.
I have missed you dear soul during my time away. Life has a way of taking you to regroup, rewind and renew.
I have missed everyone dearly and kept my blog friends in my thoughts and prayers.
May you and yours be forever Blessed.
Love and Light,
Nina P

Thank you for visiting and leaving such flattering comments.

Your artwork is so amazing! I am in awe of drawing and painting (and others such a pottery) because I don't know how to do any of them. In comparison, clicking a shutter seems relatively easy.

This is a really beautiful drawing.

I found at least four on the corners of the frame, and maybe some as beads on her hair. What a great talent you shared with us.
