Golden Eagle -Paint Party Friday

I've always loved Eagles. There is something so majestic and noble about them. We have the privilege of hosting a family of Bald Eagles who nest near the river. He doesn't land in the trees close by, as does the Eagle at my parent's home. But every now and then you can spot our Eagle diving in the river for fish, or circling over the town.

This Eagle was a Christmas gift to my Dad, who, in his own way was a grand old Eagle.

I am re-posting this, because I am just too sick to do anything else.  Ugh.

Thank you for dropping by.  You are always a big encouragement--Love, joy and peace to you, dear ones!

Well, remember when Dad was a counselor at Trout Creek? His cabin was named "Baldy's Eagles..."

Hi Beth:)

Greetings:)

Beautiful drawing and a very interesting write up.

As you said the eagles are grand, they are majestic,a treat to watch them soaring in the skies and I believe they have such fantastic eyes that they can spot even small things on the ground. To see an eagle swooping on a prey is a treat for the eyes. Yes, eagles are absolutely gorgeous.

Have a nice day Beth:)

There is something about an eagle that just makes a person feel proud.

Oh such strength and beauty. Bald eagles are starting to come back to western NY. I have yet to see one of the glorious creatures but I have family and friends that have. Eagles lift your spirit and with a little imagination, you soar right with them. Blessings to you and yours. Love and Light, Nina P

Look at the skill involved in this one! They are formidable animals with a great deal of mystery. And for your dad...so sweet.
