Sparkle Faery

While on our anniversary trip this past week, I found time to do a little cloud painting.  This lovely faery with sparkles all around was shot recently when the sun was out and rain was falling at the same time.  What a magical combination!  The raindrops sparkled on their way down--as my lady faery grinned up at them.

Above you can see this smiling cloud faery, as I first saw her.

Face of Light - Weekend Reflections

This is the first time I've entered one of my organic art pieces in Weekend Reflections.  This was so special, I wanted to share it.

We were getting ready to work on an addition to the back of my parent's home.  Chilly raindrops tumbled through the air in pockets of splashing cold.  Then suddenly the sun came out.  It peeked at us from between the branches of the trees.  Later I realized there was a face--a face made of light...perhaps an angel watching over us, as we worked.

Above you see this lovely shining face, with delicate fir needle earrings, as I first glimpsed her through the lens of my camera.

Light Bearer

Just this afternoon I caught this amazing image in the clouds--I did enhance what I saw a little, but not very much. To see it best, click for the larger view.

And the darkest hour of the night, is just before dawn’s morning light…and now before this moment is gone, get ready, here comes the Sunrise.

Hang in there. It may seem the darkness is growing and suffocating all that is good, but the light is bright and it is already surrounding you. Darkness cannot stand before light.
