Chasing Bubbles, Happy Mother's Day!

This is a drawing I completed in 2010.  I had my dear son, now in his late 20's, in mind.  It is hard to believe ten years have passed since I created this piece.  Seems like my son was born just yesterday!

You can see these sweet fishies are his baby sitters.  They're having a marvelous time distracting the little fellow with lots of bubbles!  I just love the look in his eyes.  Heehee

Happy Mother's Day, dear Friends!

Hope of my Heart -Paint Party Friday

It is time for me to post another of my Cloud Paintings.  As long as I can remember, I have admired artwork found in Nature itself--its beauty authored by the Creator.  I even dreamed of painting a sunset with Him someday.  I'm sure God smiled over that dream.

In 2007, I nearly died of MRSA.  Two hours more, and I would have lost my leg, my life, or both.  I  prayed that God would let me live. Not long afterward, my family bought a camera for me.  The gift I was given after my brush with death, allows me to see things hidden in nature.

Years ago, looking into the sky, I caught sight of this beautiful young man, who looks so much like my own dear son.

This morning I was thinking about how important hope is to each of us.  I am so grateful God has given me a heart of hope.  Life would not be worth living without hope.  I am so glad He is the God of hope, and I do not walk my life's path alone.

Above you see the original cloud as I captured it with my camera.

Have a lovely day, dear Friends--My prayer for you, is that you will live in the Hope God gives to each of us.  Hope lives.

Happy Paint Party Friday, all you lovely artists and beautiful people. May God bless you, dear ones, with His joy and peace.  Thank you for dropping by.

Byron's Lessons

Even faeries teach their children a trade. Here a little faery Mom teaches her small boy how to scent a flower and put its colors into place. However, seeing that mischievous look, I'm sure when she's not looking, one might find a crazy pattern of pinks, blues and greens splashed across the flower's petals.

Daddy Update: Dad made a breakthrough this morning! He actually got up and made coffee this morning. He was able to go outside with his walker yesterday afternoon--he even walked a few paces with his cane. Dad is healing faster than anyone could predict. Thanks to the prayers of people everywhere, I believe we are watching a miracle unfold! Thank you! Keep praying--Dad sees the neck doctors the first of September!

Our Snow Angel

Our boy was eleven years old when I drew this picture of him. Just like his Dad, he has the gift of making people laugh. Our little angel is not so small these days. He's 6'4 and towers over the rest of the family! I could not ask for a more marvelous son. He is kind, thoughtful, hard working, and smart. We are very proud of this wonderful young man.
