Happy April Fool's Day! I thought this drawing from 2004 would be a great one for today. This pen and ink was fun to draw. It features the soul of a boy--most boys I know would delight to light a tiger's tail on fire--though perhaps in real life, the tiger might not take it, er, "lightly."
In fact, one might not actually live to tell the, er, tale! (grin) Forgive the puns on words--I could not help myself.
Above is my reference photo. It was taken during a birthday party for my son.
This is one of my son's friends. For a party project, Alan and I purchased a bunch of varied colored army men which the fellas were allowed to melt, chop and arrange into various, er scenarios. Wow, (eeek!) what imaginations! But what fun--my son's buddies are such wonderful young people.
Here in the Willamette Valley, the sun is shining and the skies are blue. It is so great to see the sunshine--so good for the soul. Thank you for dropping by, dear Friends. ((Hugs)) Happy April Fool's Day and Happy Paint Party Friday!

Great combination. Real human with an imaginary tiger. Both are drawn beautifully.
