Raccoon Rhapsody

We had a wonderful time away.  Part of the charm and magic of our trip was that I spent time each day doodling another Pen and Ink.  I've been itching to draw this one ever since I saw Abe Lincoln's inspiring Raccoon picture below.

If you look closely you will see the dear little Raccoon is playing a "daisy" harp--at least she is in my imagination!  Hence the name Raccoon Rhapsody.

If you would like to see more wonderful photography by Abraham Lincoln pop on over to My Birds Blog.

Abe, thank you so much for your wonderfully inspiring photography, stories and comments.

You really did a good job on this Beth. I think you captured the raccoons so well and the flowers -- it just makes an excellent picture. You have a lot of talent.

Beth, this is entirely charming. I clicked to see it large and the details are fantastic! I can only imagine that pen and ink is completely unforgiving of mistakes and your lines are full of grace and knowing. Plus charm oozes from this piece!

Beth, what a wonderful and lovable picture you created ! I thought she ( or he?) is doing that: "...he loves me, he loves me not..." game. At least "we here" do this with daisies, and pluck off each single petal. The one which is the last forecasts what "he" will do. Or she...

Hi Beth,
I am cracking up over here, about the art work at our museum.
The art is actually all hand blown glass by Dale Chuchily in N.M.
It is astounding to see!
Thanks for your sweet visit!
Oh, and not my birthday this yr..
My b-d is in July!
