Tale of Tails - Illustration Friday

When I was a girl, my siblings and I would pretend to be shipwrecked.  My garden, located in the middle of the blueberry field--was an island surrounded by rough seas.  We would build forts and have picnics there.  My brothers would battle all kinds of dragons and slithering creatures from their imagination.  Those bygone days were such great fun.

After I was done with this drawing I noticed I did something really funny--can you spot it???

Maybe that the dragons are biting each others' tails?

is it that there's a lone tail floating in the water in the background?
if not, then I simply give up! lol

Love this!

As far as funny...the only thing I could find (after looking really hard at the full sized image) was that the one dragon has scales going in different directions - which might make it harder for him to slither. ;)

OK now I see it--a two headed dragon and one big long tail with no head at all! Right? Thanks for the hint ;)

To live a childhood like that is the best way to do it, I think.

You got caught up in your own creation, Beth. Ha!

Your own two-headed dragon, and a no-headed dragon! Love it! What sweet memories!

A two headed dragon, very cool. Are they munching on a headless dragon tail?

Yes I see the two headed dragon, at first i thought it was the thing over your brothers shoulder, maybe a part of a dragon- not sure. Then I saw two tales in the water and only one dragon. I love that you made us look closely at your charming art and memories of growing up together!

The frame consumed by two dragon heads with only one tail, perhaps.
