Bouffant Elephant -Paint Party Friday


I haven't had time to scan this week's artwork, so I'm resorting to a cartoon I drew in happier times.  I love cartooning, and taught children at our local school as a part of an enrichment program.  I'm not sure who was the more enriched--me or the children!  That time in my life is a happy memory.


Blessings and joy to each of you who took time to drop by today.  Thank you!  Have a lovely weekend--though many across the nation are experiencing devastating snow storms, here in the Pacific Northwest, the sun is shining and the tiny daffodils are beginning to bloom.

    Daffodils already? wow, what a gift! I think I saw a few daffodil leaves peeking up out of the mulch yesterday. The snow has gone for now. I am hoping we don't get another bout of it. We are having tons of rain, though, and warmer weather. It is 9:30 p.m. and it is in the 50s. Your bouffant elephant is adorable, Beth. I know you made a difference in the lives of those young ones.     it is great to work with children :) In my mind I pictured all fansy colors on the elephants hat :)

    marvelous looking elephant Beth! I know what you mean about working with the children. I think about the years I volunteered then worked in a local elementary school often and have such happy memories.
