Porthole


This is a commissioned piece I am sending off to Texas today.  The original idea came from a graphite drawing I did when I was only 17 years old.


As you can see, I've improved over the years--yet there is a magic in this original drawing I find hard to resist.

Ah, youth!  That young girl, so many years ago, would never have dreamed I would be posting her artwork on something like a blog!

    I remember that drawing you did so long ago! I always loved it! And I love the "new" version too. That is one lucky Texan!!!
