Little Owl -Guest Heart Thursday

I am having so much fun with an incredibly simple medium--grey paper, white and black Prismacolor pencils!  This newest drawing is in honor of the wee owl who came to visit our family years ago.  My youngest brother, who was around four at the time, discovered the owl.  My memory is of all of us trouping into the kitchen behind Mom to find the tiny owl perched on the corner cupboard door.  Dad mounted a wooden owl above the corner cupboard to commemorate the little fellow's visit. It is still there.

Of course, I have hidden a heart, or two in this picture!  Have a lovely day and Happy Guest Heart Thursday!

I LOVE this! To use your words, Beth, it 'fills my eyes' with joy and awe. I love the monochromatic technique you used so creatively, and the composition and the wonderful story it conveys. I love it!
