Crocus Faery

The bitter cold of this early winter morning reminds me of how much I already miss Spring.

How lovely to watch the garden grow, to see the flowers popping from the soil, to catch wiffles of color from the flowering plums and smell wafts of fragrance from the honey trees along the river.

I remember the warm spring day I cleared the garden and discovered a late bloom and crocus faery peering from her fragile purple blossom.  And here she is!

I know, I know--I have a GREAT imagination!

What a sweet reminder of spring. I'll be sure to check my Crocus when they blossom, I hope I find a faery :)

quite adorable ms. Beth.
Spring is far away... as winter has just begun, my world is white and powder sugar like snow falls from the sky.

I love your crocus faery...aren't you getting any snow up there Sissy...they are screaming about this horrible storm headed our way and it is right over your house today. I can't believe you're not seeing a flake or two. Anyway keep your feet dry and stay warm...love you

Oh sissie! She's the perfect fairy of spring. I so miss the warmer time of the year - the freshness and newness of spring ... but I plan to enjoy the beauty of winter now ... since I don't really have a choice!
