Butterfly Faery

Now and then I will be reposting some of my artwork. This piece of art is one of my favorites. The little faery is of the variety of butterfly faeryfolk who live in magical groves of bubble trees. I love bubbles. It would be so extraordinary to actually see the bubble tree groves of my imaginative dreams.
.
Indeed, one might wonder if a person could make a bubble tree crown? Are bubble tree leaves sticky? If one had enough bubble tree leaves, could one fly up into the clouds? I wonder what would happen should one happen to pop a bubble leaf? Would the bubble tree butterfly faeryfolk mind?
.
How long do bubble trees, er, bubble? Are there times when bubble trees lose their bubble leaves--and if so, do the bubble leaves float into the skies, or do they land on the ground in great foamy, sparkling bubble leaf heaps? My darling sister Clytie wrote, “More importantly, when it’s frozen, do the bubbles 'clink?'”
.
Ah, these and many other questions such as this, do cross my mind now and again. (grin)

Dear gifted sister, You really should be illustrating books you know...the world is missing out.

Music.. don't you just love it!!! The most fantastic thing I have found in music is "Playlist.com" and it is free, free, free you just have to create an account and you can install their player and any of their endless list of songs on your blog....it is wonderful. The playlist site is pretty self explanitory but sometimes confusing, if you have any trouble I would be happy to answer any questions I can. Once you get on to it, it's easy. Good luck!!

If you look at a bubble tree bubble, is the inside world reflected right side up or up side down?

I know it's not what she is doing but I had to laugh because at first glance, I thought she looked just a bit like Scarlett O'Hara with hand on her brow swearing, "With God as my witness, I will never go hungry again." I have no idea what made me think that looking again but that's what I thought. LOL

I wonder if some bubbles drift loose and float onto nearby ponds? What a lovely thought!
